This project was located in Asheville, NC and was a prime contract for site improvements for the new church facility of The First Congregational Church of Christ. The project was heavily wooded and consisted of steep terrain, which required various retaining walls and reinforced slopes. BSI self-performed the majority of the services required, with exception to clearing and grubbing activities. Major items included within the construction where 1,600 LF of silt fence, 4 temporary sediment basins, 1,000 LF of permanent ditches, 60,000 CY of cut-fill excavation, 24,000 CY of export fill, 460 LF of 24 " HDPE storm pipe, 14,000 SF of MSE retaining walls, and 9,000 SF of reinforced slope.
