Buchanan and Sons Inc design / build division is responsible for the design / build contracts the company performs. Design-build is a project delivery method that is considered by many to be a relatively new process, but is actually dated back as far as the construction of the pyramids in 1596 B.C. It is an industry driven program to find a better project delivery method, which our company started pursuing in 2001. Performing design-build allows our company to have involvement throughout the life of the project, which allows interactive influence concerning the project design, overall schedule, and budget.
