BSI performed this project in Black Mountain, NC. The intent of the project was to improve drainage and add sidewalk along Cragmont Road. Our contract was with the Town of Black Mountain, and at the time Bob Watts was the Public Works Director. Our firm self-performed all services with exception to the asphalt pavement. Major items included within the construction were excavation, 2,786 LF of 5-foot wide concrete sidewalk, 1,699 LF of 30" curb & gutter, 1,150 CY of aggregate base, 5,000 SY of asphalt pavement, 12 storm drain structures, 140 LF of 18" HDPE, 480 LF of 24" HDPE pipe,. 140 LF of 30" HDPE pipe, 620 SF of redi-rock retaining wall, 2,580 SF of MSE retaining wall, and 149 CY of concrete gravity retaining wall. |
